# Multi-Angle Staging

Stage the same room from different angles, with the same furniture in every shot.

Most virtual staging tools treat each photo on its own so the same room unfortunately has different furniture. The listing doesn't look great.

AutoReel's Multi-Angle staging fixes this. The same room from different angles can now have the same, consistent furntiture and style.

Pick one photo as your reference. AutoReel copies the furniture from that photo into your other shots of the same space from each new angle.

It works for empty rooms too. First, [use Virtual Staging](https://learn.autoreelapp.com/photo-edits-and-virtual-staging/photo-editing-and-virtual-staging) to stage it the room as desired. Then, simply copy the real furniture from this staged photo into an empty one. You get the same exact bed or sofa, not a random one.

**Experimental:** This feature is experimental. It works well in the large majority of cases, but not every time. It's a challenging problem we built this solution for. Read the Tips section below for best practices.

## Who can use it

Multi-Angle Staging requires significant compute resources, so it’s available on **Growth** and **Pro** plans, as well as **all annual plans**—including the **Essential Annual** plan.

There's no additional cost to use it, it's fully included as long as you're on the right plan.

## How to use it

*Note: If you have not used virtual staging yet, it's highly recommended to try it out or at least* [*understand how it works here*](https://learn.autoreelapp.com/photo-edits-and-virtual-staging/photo-editing-and-virtual-staging)*.*

1. Click the photo you want to stage.
2. Open the **AI edit**.
3. Toggle to Virtual Staging
4. Click **Multi-angle staging**.
5. Pick your reference photo.
6. AutoReel will generate 6 options for you to review and select from.
 1. *Please be patient as this can take up to 2-3 minutes to render.*
 2. *Don't leave this page.*
7. Click **Select photo** on the version that looks right.

If you need multiple angles, repeat with the same original reference photo. That keeps furniture consistent across every shot and angle.

{% hint style="info" %}
💡 **Pro tip:** Pick a reference shot from a similar height and angle. Closer angles (e.g. 15, 30, or 45 degrees) give better results compared to angles that are totally different.
{% endhint %}

## Why you get 6 versions

Your two photos are rarely shot from the same spot, so our AI has to regenerate the furniture from a new angle.

*Note: It is a hard problem to solve. It does not always get this right.*

Since it's tricky to generate, we generate 6 at once to increase the liklihood of getting a good result. Pick your favorite from the generated options – and the rest are discarded (for now).

## What it costs

1 photo edit.

Specifically, the whole group of 6 generations counts as 1 photo edit out of those included in your [plan's limit](https://learn.autoreelapp.com/how-ai-credits-work). Every AutoReel plan includes a certain number of photo edits complimentary (no additional cost). If you need more, you can always top up more [AI credits](https://learn.autoreelapp.com/how-ai-credits-work) as needed.

## Tips

* Use one reference photo for the whole room.
* Use photos that differ in minimal degree/location variations
* Pick a reference with clear, well-lit furniture.
* Avoid references where furniture is cut off at the frame edge.
* If none of the 6 look right, try a different reference.

## Common questions

**Can I pick more than one version?**

No. One per run for now. Run it again to keep another look.

**Can I change my reference photo?**

Yes. Click **Replace**.

**Does it change the room itself?**

No. Only the furniture is added.

**How long does it take?**

Up to 3 minutes.
